A very early form of photography didn't use lenses. Pinhole photography is a simple process but difficult to achieve great results... which makes it all the more interesting. Dan will offer these charming images taken of historic locations around town. You don't want to miss this one.

all hallows oddities market
if you like spooky, creepy, macabre, or slightly icky, this will probably be right up your scary alley. but don't let me frighten you off—because it all takes place in broad daylight, so what could possibly go wrong to foolish mortals who wander in? you might even want to buy something to fend off the ghouls and demons. luckily, it's free to walk in and wander around.

it all takes place on the grounds of the mount bethel cemetery (where else?). for those not aware, that's at 700 locust street, columbia, pennsylvania.

The Last Ride &
Macabre Creations
The grounds of Mount Bethel will come to life when professional vehicles gather for a cemetery-related car show complemented by vendors featuring macabre creations. The show is held in conjunction with "Thunder on the River Car Show" held in downtown Columbia courtesy of the Columbia Lions Club. No admission.

 

 

 

 

Friday, September 12, 2025 (6-9pm)

Fete en Noir

Dress in black if possible.

An outdoor picnic held on the grounds of Mount Bethel with live music. Bring your own picnic food and beverage; we will supply the table, table coverings, and chairs. Reservations are $20 per person if prepaid by August 31; after that, they are $25 per person. For tickets, call 717-681-6768 or email friendsofmtbethel@gmail.com Admission is limited to the available seating.

Halloween House Tour
The grounds of Mount Bethel are an anchor location on this annual Halloween House Tour coordinated by Create Columbia. A guided mini-tour will be offered to those who wish to participate.
